We meet the ferries arriving on the Island in our white Suzuki 4x4 to greet you, pick up your luggage and direct you to our Village.

Just before the turnoff to the left to Rosslyn Bay Harbour, Great Keppel Island Security Car Park is on the right. Phone (07) 4933 6670. There is also parking available at Pier 1 ferry terminal.

FUNTASTIC CRUISES - For a special experience arriving and departing the island, try this 17 metre catamaran. Hans & Dianne will organize meeting you at Rosslyn Bay Harbour to take you to the island and pick you up at the island for a perfect departure back to the mainland. Daily service. Trip takes 1-1/2 hours one way; cost is $300 divided among number of people. They also offer day cruises and snorkelling. DRIVING

Heading north out of Rockhampton, at the Dreamtime Aboriginal Cultural Centre, turn right off the highway onto the Yeppoon Road and follow the road for about 40 kilometres until you see the ocean from atop the hill as it goes down to the town. At the third large roundabout, turn right (Information Centre on the left) and follow the road to signs directing you to Rosslyn Bay Harbour. If you need to shop for food or other items, do banking, etc., turn left at the large roundabout and it will take you into the main shopping area in town.

GREYHOUND BUSES, QUEENSLAND RAIL, AND AIRLINES all service Rockhampton. If arriving by any of these, the following transport is available to get you to Keppel Bay Marina.

Queensland Rail offers train (to Rockhampton) and bus (to Yeppoon) combination fares - ph 132 232

Qantas, Jet Star, Virgin and Tiger Airlines fly daily into Rockhampton.

If you are flying into Rockhampton Airport, the most direct transport to the island is to fly with a local air service. RYDGES RESORT AIRPORT SHUTTLE BUS - picks up at Rockhampton Airport meeting flights that arrive from 9.00 am to 10.15 am. They will take you to their resort to have lunch and spend the day and then transport you to the Marina to catch the 3.00 ferry on Fridays. They will also drop you in Yeppoon if you wish to do any grocery shopping.

They will also pick you up from the 10.00 am ferry on Fridays, take you to their resort until a 3.00 pm departure to the airport.

Bus stops at ROCKHAMPTON AIRPORT at 9.30 am; 11.45 pm daily; 1.00 pm on Saturday; no service on Sunday from the airport. You can take a taxi into the CBD and catch the bus from there on Sundays.
