“I have been travelling in Australia for the past 4 weeks and found Great Keppel Island Holiday Village in Hachette Australia Guide.  I have written to the guide to update their description of the island to say that it has become a little paradise – very quiet and relaxing and that you (Geoff) are dedicated to people who come on vacation to make sure that everybody has the best time on the island.  Great Keppel Island is one of my best memories while travelling in Australia and it is a shame that so many people miss it!

“Just wanted to say thank you for an awesome time on Great Keppel Island and at the Holiday Village.  We had a great relaxing time, which is what we were looking for. The place is a great way to relax, and you definitely made it not just a fun place to stay, but made us feel so welcome.  Also must thank you for an awesome tube ride.  I look at the photos and just laugh. Our arms were sore the next day!  I have highly recommended Great Keppel Island to everyone, especially when there are so few people staying on the island!  Who would have thought that off the coast from Rockhampton there would be a little island of beautiful beaches and gorgeous water.  Everyone that I spoke to who was staying at the Holiday Village seemed to have such a great time and also made mention that you were a top bloke who made the place enjoyable.  Hope to visit again soon.”

“We can’t thank you enough for the wonderful opportunity to stay at Dolphin Cottage for 5 days.  We thoroughly enjoyed every waking minute of it (and made the most of everything this beautiful island has to offer).  We were very glad to see that much has remained as naturally untouched as possible after all these years.”

“As proud parents of a one and an eight year old, we were a little dubious as to how much we would be able to do with the children on the island – and I must say we all had the time of our lives – walked the beach every morning, snorkelled, hunted for shells, watched the sunsets every night and loved playing trucks and ball games in our wonderful playground we made in the front yard off the verandah.  We were shown nothing but the best in hospitality and friendliness for the entire duration of our stay.  Ever so grateful for a holiday we will never forget.
